Hello

My name is Alexandra Golovko, or Alex. I’m a gemini, a generator in human design, lover of Yoga philosophy and movement, coffee, indie music, analog photography, and starting up barbecues. I’m from Russia originally, and moved to Geneva, Switzerland, at the age of 7 and lived there ever since.

My Story

Up until 2025, I worked in a UN agency for 13 years, travelled to more than 40 countries, speak 6 languages.
But in 2025, I decided to quit.

Why quitting a comfortable UN income you ask?

Because I am done pleasing what others expect of me, and ready to embody something that reflects who I truly am, which is particularly huge since I was a complete people-pleaser until 35yo.

Most of my life, I thought my ability to read people’s emotions and prioritize them was my strength. I was the supportive friend, the accommodating colleague, the ‘easy-going’ partner. But deep down, I was exhausted. I felt like a chameleon, constantly shifting to fit in, to be liked, to not make waves.

Then came the anxiety—the kind that sneaks up on you, making your mind race, and imagining that your body has turned against you.

Something shifted at 35, after a break up from another draining relationship. I started travelling on my own and started a daily yoga practice. This is when I finally started to see the pattern: I had been abandoning myself to not be abandoned by others.

Learning to set boundaries wasn’t easy. It meant unlearning everything I was taught and healing abandonment fears from childhood. But once I did, everything changed.

Now? I’ve never felt more powerful, more grounded, more me.

My mission is for other women do the same. I realized that I wasn’t alone, so many women carry these patterns that society quietly passes on to us. So since 3 years, I am a 450h yoga teacher and a somatic coach, blending my own experience with teachings I acquired from the best (Dr. Sarah Coxon, Yogalife International, Kayla Nielsen, Jeffrey Allen, and many others).
